Transforming Anger is a 3-day MoveMeant course developed by Gil 'The Grid' Gomes Leal, founder of the Amenti MoveMeant Method, specifically for people with difficulty accessing, understanding, or expressing anger. Some people might unknowingly suppress certain emotions or have difficulty differentiating between them. Where some feel like they can't tap into their anger and fall into sadness, others might lose themselves in anger. For many, it is perceived as something 'negative' or not allowed.Everyone has their own life experiences and relates to anger differently. It is valuable to understand our relationship to anger and see which patterns and beliefs are there and which can be rewired for the better.

This course focuses on awareness of, relation to, and transforming anger through dance, movement, and theory. We dive into the underlying motive that blocks you from fully stepping into your power. We will do so by using 2 MoveMeant layers of our method:

The Layer of Sensations (Water) and The Layer of Power (Fire)

We gain more understanding of why and how we got to this point and start changing our behaviors and breaking through patterns for a different outcome.

When tapped into and expressed healthily, anger gets shit done. We hold our own power to make a change in a situation. Healthy anger makes us stand for ourselves and our values. To speak up, to respect boundaries, and much more.

Amenti MoveMeant Method is a transformative method created by Gil 'The Grid' Gomes Leal, which spreads awareness about the body-mind connection and gives tools for expanding self-expression and -awareness. The Method uses seven layers, each representing an area of life, a specific way of moving, and a corresponding element.โ€Some people have a natural affinity with a particular layer in movement or behavior and have a harder time connecting to another.
